The auther has done a great job in collecting all these different equations used in many of the Prepress and Press daily tasks. The amount of knowledge is intense, but every equation is simplified and explained in a page or two to give you all you need to just get it right. RECOMMENDED A+++

This useful book should be found in every prepress and printing shop. The essential equations — those concerned with paper, dot gain, contrast and typography, among others–are covered thoroughly and in a straightforward manner.
The book includes a CD-ROM which can be used to verfiy calculations.
The book is well organized and divided into five parts which can be read in any order.
