I love typography, but my use of it is not as solid as many others involved in web design. I found this book to be a great overview of the status of web typography, how to use it, whats new, and much more. I especially liked the web font specimen section of the book letting me know what is available to use with @font-face and how compatible the fonts are on different OS’s and browsers. Sure, one might be able to find these resources all over the web, but nothing beats picking up an actual book and flipping through it for information when needed.

The tone of the book works very well. There is a lot of information to swallow, but it is not presented in an overwhelming way; it works. For the price, this book is an excellent read, a great resource for more information, and worth a read for anyone struggling, or even deep into typography on the web. thanks Jason.
